Notes on the Strangeness of an Ordinary Day
October 24, 2007
Fixing a moment in my memory today, which I do from time to time to remind myself I am alive and will not always be so, I managed to progress from looking at the curve of my arm in the twilight of the cinema to near-hysterical, suffocating claustrophobia under the tomb-like low vaulted ceiling in a matter of around two minutes. This was my first-ever experience of claustrophobia.
Fortunately Ratatouille is quite funny so I was able to keep quiet, stay seated and distract myself.
